Terms of Engagement

1. Instructing parties shall treat all information supplied by Mr. Khatri as confidential and shall not disclose indirectly or directly or otherwise use this information except for the purpose of specified litigation without prior consent of Mr. Khatri
   
   
2. Mr Khatri charges for preparing the report will be based on the complexity and length of the report but are likely to be approximately £300 - £500 plus 15% VAT. These charges are negotiable and attractive discounts are available for bulk booking
   
   
3. Instructing parties shall pay all sums due within 3 - 6 months of the date of invoice. Attractive discounts are available for early payments. Mr. Khatri reserves the right to charge an interest of 2% per month, or part of a month on late unpaid amount until full settlement is received
   
   
4. In legally aided cases (where Mr. Khatri's fees constitute a disbursement), Mr. Khatri expects instructing party to make a prompt claim to Legal services Commission, and to advise him of any expected delay in settlement. In all other cases clause 3 is applicable
   
   
5. Mr. Khatri shall invoice for any additional reasonable expenses incurred and any necessary mileage will be charged at 50p/mile. Copies of receipt will be provided on request
   
   
6. Appointments can be given at short notice and routinely seen within 3 - 4 weeks
   
   
7. A Non-attendance fee of £50 plus VAT will be charged
   
   
8. A composite report is produced with 07 - 14 days of the examination, provided all documents including patient's records and x-rays and scans are available at the time of examination
   
   
9. Instructing parties shall be responsible for giving adequate instructions and shall check also that all matters are covered in the reports. They will ensure the availabilities of documents such as General Practitioner records, Accident and Emergency, Hospital records and results of various tests performed that are relevant to the case. Instructing party shall be responsible for any claims made against Mr. Khatri resulting from their failure to do so
   
   
10. The liability of Mr. Khatri to instructing parties and/or their clients for negligence howsoever arising in respect of any loss or damage caused by an act or default of Mr. Khatri shall be limited to the amount received by Mr. Khatri for his services
